We are seeking an experienced business development professional to help expand our corporate client base and drive lunchtime sales. As a growing catering company, we aim to provide healthy and delicious meal options to busy executives and office workers in the downtown area.
Your role will be to strategically target and approach local companies in industries such as finance, tech, media and professional services. Leveraging your persuasive communication skills and client-facing experience, your objective is to secure partnerships and standing lunch orders from these businesses. Potential clients must be convinced of our ability to offer clients convenient, high-quality meals within tight deadlines.
As our corporate sales representative, you will be responsible for generating new leads, cold-calling key contacts, arranging in-person presentations and negotiations. Well-versed in client relationship building, you should demonstrate patience, solutions-oriented thinking and an ability to overcome objections. Signing multimonth bulk catering contracts is the ultimate goal.
A track record selling services to enterprises, as well as familiarity with the office catering industry would be valuable assets. Strong networking acumen and presentation skills are expected to deliver compelling sales pitches and close more deals. Proficiency in major CRM tools to manage accounts and opportunities is required. Periodic reporting on KPIs like new logos, average contract value shall be provided.
