We are seeking a skilled and experienced legal writer to assist in drafting a trial brief for a divorce case in California. The ideal candidate must have a strong ability to perform legal research, draft well-organized and persuasive legal documents, and incorporate relevant exhibits.
The successful candidate will:
Conduct legal research specific to California family law. Consult with us to clarify facts, arguments, and applicable legal standards. Work collaboratively to prepare a comprehensive trial brief that aligns with the requirements for California courts. Assist in organizing and preparing exhibits for the brief. Ensure the final product adheres to all applicable legal and procedural standards. Requirements:
Strong background in legal writing and research. Knowledge of California family law. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with clients. Familiarity with preparing and presenting legal documents, including trial briefs and exhibits. Access to resources for accurate legal research or willingness to consult with legal professionals. Adherence to strict deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:
Law degree or significant experience in family law. Experience drafting legal documents for California courts. Deliverables:
A completed and professionally formatted trial brief, inclusive of legal arguments, citations, and exhibits, ready for submission.
