Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks About Us We are a UK-based Indian food manufacturing company specialising in curry sauces and spice kits, sold directly to consumers (D2C) through our website. Following a recent brand refresh, we are preparing to expand into the competitive UK FMCG retail market.
Project Overview We are seeking a highly skilled packaging designer to refine and finalise our new packaging concepts. While we’re 80% satisfied with our current designs, we require expert input and creative refinements to ensure they stand out on retail shelves. The project also involves preparing final print-ready artwork for a range of SKUs.
Scope of Work 1. Brand Review: Review our refreshed brand identity and logo, providing suggestions for improvement. 2. Packaging Design: Evaluate our current packaging concepts and propose refinements to align with the brand’s vision and retail market standards. 3. Artwork Finalisation: Prepare print-ready artwork in Adobe InDesign for: - 7 curry sauce SKUs (stand up pouches) - 12 spice kit SKUs (boxes) - 5 additional SKUs (stand up pouches
Key Requirements - Proven experience designing food packaging for the retail market, ideally in the UK FMCG sector. - A strong portfolio showcasing world-class food packaging designs. - Expertise in Adobe InDesign and preparing artwork for print. - Knowledge of UK retail packaging standards and trends. - Ability to balance brand consistency with creative innovation.
Nice to Have - Experience working with Indian or ethnic food brands. - Familiarity with sustainable packaging trends.
