We seek a diligent virtual assistant to transcribe various documentation into editable word files. The selected freelancer will be provided with documents consisting of business reports, project overviews, meeting minutes and other company records in PDF and image formats. Using optical character recognition software, these files must be converted into editable Microsoft Word documents while maintaining the original formatting and structure. The documents range from 5-15 pages on average and include tables, images and other complex layouts. Accuracy is paramount as the retyped word files will be used internally by various teams. The virtual assistant will be required to complete 2-5 transcription assignments per week consisting of 10-30 pages in total. Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience utilizing OCR tools to retype documents from images into editable formats. Strong English typing skills, an eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. Review of sample work may be requested. We hope to find a skilled freelancer who can deliver high-quality work on an ongoing basis.
