I'm looking at feasibility of developing an app for a charity to manage a database of names and events. The system is running on spreadsheets at the moment but it is clunky and reporting is very poor. I would like to take it to an app that can be deployed on a handful of android devices so that individuals can interact with this and data is kept on a hosted database. The events are hosted in the user's house, and guests are invited. we want to come up with an easy way of reporting on who has been to each event, as well as how has hosted them. But I have no idea how the database would be hosted and whether it can be deployed to users in the form of an app
