We’re looking for a highly skilled Video Editor with proven experience creating Direct Response Video Sales Letters (VSLs). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for editing video content that hooks viewers, emotionally engages them, and drives conversions. You’ll have a sharp eye for pacing, transitions, and storytelling, as well as an ability to execute projects efficiently while maintaining top-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit long-form Video Sales Letters (VSLs) from raw footage to polished deliverables. • Craft engaging and persuasive content that aligns with client scripts, pacing, and style. • Incorporate text overlays, sound effects, music, and stock footage to enhance emotional impact. • Ensure seamless transitions and high production quality in all deliverables. • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to bring concepts to life. • Maintain brand consistency across all projects while tailoring each VSL to the target audience. • Deliver projects on time while adapting to feedback and revisions.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience editing Direct Response VSLs or similar long-form video formats. • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard editing tools. • A portfolio showcasing completed direct response projects (VSLs, ads, or marketing videos). • Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles, including pacing, persuasion, and storytelling. • Experience with text animations, green screen editing, and syncing visuals with scripts. • Excellent communication and time-management skills to meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of e-commerce, health, or wellness industries is a plus.
