Description:
I seek a skilled typist to transcribe text from a printed publication into a digital format. The work involves reproducing approximately 86 pages containing around 35,000 words from a booklet into a Microsoft Word document. As the contents have already been formatted and published, the task requires carefully and accurately inputting each word by hand into the specified software. Good spelling, punctuation and grammar skills are essential to avoid errors in the transfer of content. The material which is non-confidential will be couriered to the freelancer for transcription direct from paper to screen. Experience working with UK-based clients and meeting tight deadlines is preferable. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and strong attention to detail are a must for this typing project.
