Tasks will include optimizing on-page SEO elements, designing and implementing a local link building campaign, outreach to relevant industry websites and directories for potential backlinks and profiles, managing citations and extracting key facts for submission to sites like Wikipedia. Community engagement through local blogs and neighborhood forums should be leveraged.
Social media promotion on platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor will be handled to spread brand messaging. Graphics for this outreach need designing. Google Ads setup for location-based targeting and keyword research are also important deliverables.
Periodic reporting on metrics like website traffic, backlink profile, social mentions will be provided. Continuous monitoring of online presence and reputation is expected. Creativity and innovation in promotion strategies using latest digital techniques within budgetary guidelines are encouraged.
Applicants should demonstrate success in previous online marketing campaigns, preferably for non-profits or grassroots organizations. Expertise in local search engine optimization techniques and community building fundamentals is preferred.
