Hi, I'm looking for someone knowledgeable in photography/videography to give me advice on a few specific areas. These include:
1. How to position the camera for specific shots where I’ll be using my hands, with an item placed in front of me.
2. What tools or tripod is needed.
3.. Recommendations on editing software or advice on outsourcing the editing process.
Ideally, I’d like to create videos that run straight through with minimal edits (3-7min shoots). These videos don’t need to be perfect right away—I’m open to learning and improving as I go. If my sewing machine guidance YouTube channel gains more views over time, I’ll refine the quality further.
The videos will feature me behind a sewing machine, with the machine positioned directly in front of me. I’d like advice what to include in the background, and whether it should be blurred (and how to achieve that effect). Additionally, I need guidance on lighting the room effectively and managing the sound to minimise noise from the sewing machine.
I have a a reputable beginners level cannon camera. I can share examples of my work so far to give you a better idea of what I’m aiming for. For now, I’m primarily looking for advice to get started, but I might reach out again later for additional help and support.
Pricing a job like this is challenging because your advice, built on years of experience, is incredibly valuable. However, I’m working on a small amateur level and would greatly appreciate some guidance. Could you let me know your price and how you can help me?
