We are NLight, a growing company specialising in horticulture technology, and we’re looking for an experienced ERP consultant to support us in selecting and implementing the most suitable software solution for our operations.
Our primary goals are to streamline and enhance the following areas * Quoting and invoicing processes * Inventory management and shipping * Integration with Xero and Pipedrive * Accounting and reporting functionality
Scope of Work * Needs Analysis * Evaluate our current processes and recommend improvements. * Identify gaps in our existing system that a new ERP solution can address. * Vendor and Software Evaluation - Assist in evaluating software options, including Zoho Inventory, DEAR Systems, Odoo, Katana, and others. * Provide a comparison of the shortlisted solutions based on functionality, cost, scalability, and ease of implementation.
Implementation Support * Collaborate with our team to oversee the initial setup and customisation of the chosen solution. * Provide guidance on data migration, user training, and go-live processes.
Post-Implementation Support * Offer troubleshooting and optimisation advice post-implementation (if required).
Ideal Candidate * Proven experience in ERP consulting, with a strong track record in system selection and implementation. * Familiarity with the mentioned platforms and their integrations with Xero and Pipedrive. * Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Based in the UK or available to work within UK time zones. * Industry knowledge in technology, horticulture, manufacturing is a plus.
Deliverables * A comprehensive report comparing the shortlisted ERP solutions, including pros, cons, and recommendations. * Support with the selection process, ensuring the chosen solution meets our business needs. * Assistance during the implementation phase to ensure a smooth transition.
Project Duration * Estimated 4–8 weeks, with potential for ongoing support if needed.
Budget * We are open to proposals and are happy to discuss a competitive rate for the right consultant. Please provide your hourly or project-based pricing in your proposal.
