I seek a skilled interior designer to conceptualize and plan the spatial layout for my one-bedroom apartment located in central Mumbai. The apartment spans 900 square feet with an open plan living and dining area that opens up to a compact fitted kitchen. There is a single bedroom with an attached balcony and a small hallway.
The current configuration lacksDefined flow and proper organization of spaces. I envision a functional, stylish and relaxing space optimized for everyday living as well as small gatherings. The proposed design must incorporate suitable storage solutions, accentuate natural light and ventilation throughout. Neutral earthy tones for the color scheme along with mid-century Scandinavian aesthetics are preferred for furniture and furnishings.
Key elements to be addressed include reconfiguring the living area, optimizing the kitchen workflow, multi-purposing the dining space, outfitting the bedroom with built-in cabinets and customizing the balcony. Detailed 2D and 3D conceptual plans, materials and finishes board along with a preliminary budget are expected as part of the submission.
Strict adherence to my budget of Rs.3 lakhs is required. Work includes liaising with contractors and overseeing the execution. The selected candidate must have at least 3 years experience in residential interior design projects of similar scale, excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills and strong portfolio of past works that feature elegant yet practical design solutions for compact urban homes.
