We had to update an old version of WordPress, developed by a professional agency in 2021. One plugin didn't update properly so we reverted to before the update, but the CSS hasn't reverted well and there are a few issues to address:
- Reinstating the logo and favicon.ico - Updating the colours of the text, menus, and some elements' backgrounds so they match our brand again (we have the full branding guidelines available with colours hex codes) - Reviewing the text so it displays properly (the database character set was changed and the ' don't display well anymore) - Relink a couple of images that are now deadlinks - There may be other small issues of this type that arise in the course of the fixing, we'll be on the lookout
We want to do this update so we can display the website to our clients before revamping it entirely, so this is more of a fix than a complete redesign. An hourly rate is probably best as there may be other small issues arising as we work together.
