My current website is sub-standard and I would like to build a new one that more clearly communicates what I do, and is a better tool for funnelling potential clients.
At the moment, the website is a Wordpress site on the Ocean theme, hosted by SiteGround, who also provides email hosting. This is not a particularly cost-effective route anymore, so I am quite open to migrating so long as this can be done without losing my domain or my email content (currently on a MS Outlook Exchange account).
I can provide copy where required - I will likely use a mixture of my own original writing, inspiration from competitors, and ChatGPT to write this. I also have brand/logo images and some project imagery that can be used for the case studies etc.

Pages: Home – should clearly communicate the business’ value proposition to the viewer. See https://dkplanning.co.uk/ for an example.
Expertise – this page should have a general overview of the ways in which BGB can help its customers. It should have clearly visible links (ideally fixed on scroll) to the following sub-pages: - For Homeowners and Self-Builders - For Landowners and Estates - For Developers - For Businesses - For Architects/Property Professionals
Land Promotion – this page needs to communicate BGB’s ability to create value for landowners and developers alike by promoting both small-scale housing and commercial development plots and strategic sites for either allocation or for planning approval. I can provide copy.
Case Studies – this should provide concise examples of the types of projects BGB has consulted upon in the past. See here for an example: https://dkplanning.co.uk/expertise/.
Contact – this should include a photograph of myself, along with contact details and a contact form. The Contact Form should have some spam protection.
Compliance etc: The website will need a Privacy Policy. I would also like my general Terms and Conditions to be listed, on a separate page. These two pages should appear in the footer. If an SSL certificate is required this should either be sourced independently or I should be informed of how to put it in place (for example if using a plugin etc.)
General The landing for each page should be concise, communicating the page’s general message at a glance. The fonts and colours etc, should be in accordance with the company’s brand identity. The whole website should be responsive, without errors on desktop, iOS or Android devices. The website should be SEO ready. The website and email hosting will all need to be migrated from SiteGround to a new, more cost-effective provider. No email content should be lost (please advise).
