Expected duration: less than 1 week I need some guidance from an accountant how to deal with a few things in Xero.
Sales: Shopify Site. Customers can pay either via PayPal or the Shopify payment gateway. Etsy: Etsy Sales also get recorded in Shopify.
The problems I am getting
1. There's HUNDREDS of transactions (Sales), with that comes Fees. Shopify is NOT auto feed for sales, but is for transfer to the bank (Payouts). PayPal is autofeed on sales, but also on payouts. Those aren't the problem. The problem comes with accurately recording the sales, the fees, the refunds and discounts etc.
I need to know the right reports to run, because the Shopify Finances summary just doesn't feel like it's the right report.
I also need guidance on "General Holds" and "ACH Deposits"
Again, I dont want you to do this work in Xero, I need consulting on the right reports etc for me to draw the data and accurately report the sales etc in my Xero account.
