We seek a talented graphic artist to conceptualize and produce computer-aided design (CAD) study cards for engineering students. These flashcards should concisely illustrate key CAD concepts and commands in an engaging visual format. The aim is to help students more easily memorize essential CAD techniques.
The selected designer will be responsible for researching common CAD software and the types of commands students struggle most to remember as they learn the programs. A series of 25-50 illustrated notecards should be created, each clearly displaying and labeling a specific CAD function or tool. Visuals can incorporate screenshots, diagrams, or original graphic representations of how concepts appear within the software interface.
Accompanying text for each card must briefly explain what the illustrated concept represents and its basic purpose within CAD programs. Graphics and text must be designed for optimum clarity and legibility given the intends study use. Cards should utilize diverse illustrative styles while maintaining a cohesive look under a single consistent theme.
Once designed, the final set of CAD study cards must be delivered digitally in a format suitable for printing by others. The designer retains long-term distribution rights yet grants a license for these educational materials to be reproduced as needed for non-commercial student use. Portfolio-quality work, strong communication, and meeting tight deadlines are expected from applicants. We aim to select a designer with demonstrated CAD and engineering subject-matter knowledge.
