A seasoned animator is sought to bring personality to a rigged 3D character within the Unreal game engine. The character model has been expertly crafted in Maya with an advanced skeleton and facial setup prepared. Unique idle, walk, run, sprint and jump animations are required that embody the character and their purpose within the design. Additional motions such as falling, picking up objects, using tools, examining surroundings, sitting, and pushing/pulling should be conceived. Through nuanced motion-capture or keyframe work, the animator will breathe life into the digital form. Once complete, the animations must be implemented within an Unreal Blueprint state machine to allow full gameplay functionality as a third-person controllable character. Applicants should have extensive expertise creating realistic and engaging animations within Unreal through blueprints for both cutscenes and interactivity.
