This project seeks an illustrator to provide colorful yet uncluttered illustrations and design work for a series of humorous children's books based on the style of the classic British TV show "Magic Roundabout". The illustrations should compliment the whimsical rhyming stories about Rudolph the reindeer and his fantastical adventures.
For the main story pages, the illustrations are asked to visually depict the amusing scenarios and events described in the rhyming text. An example given asks the illustrator to imagine an elaborate contraption designed to harvest the exhaled vapors and intestinal gases from Rudolph and his fellow reindeer, which power one of Rudolph's outlandish inventions. Footnote illustrations should have a more technical, diagrammatic style while still retaining humor. These images are meant to clarify details mentioned in the footnotes through a visual means and in a muted, less prominent palette than the primary illustrations.
