I am seeking a furniture designer and 3D modeler to create digital assets for an entire 6-9 grade school. The school consists of various classrooms, offices and other academic spaces that require furnishings. Most classrooms will require a teacher's desk and chair, approximately 24 student desk and chair units, 2-3 small filing cabinets, and 2-4 bookshelves of varying sizes. Floor plan is attached and I do have some existing .dwg files that provide dimensions for the typical classrooms that can be used as a starting point. Some offices and specialty rooms will need customized furniture selected from common office furniture catalogs.
Your role will be to carefully review all available room data and designs. You will need to 2D & 3D model the standard classroom furniture configurations as well as customize designs as needed. Asset libraries for common office furnishings from major brands should be utilized where applicable plans dictate. Once allvirtual furniture selections and placements are complete, you will provide me with the total item count and estimated procurement costs for the entire project. Budgeting must account for any non-standard designs requiring custom quotes. Shipping and taxes should be included where reasonable to provide an accurate project investment figure.
This is an extensive but straightforward virtual furniture specification project. The final deliverable will be a comprehensive itemized budget and all 3D models organized by space/room. Please provide your rate per entire modeled and any other pertinent pricing details. I welcome your insight
