We’re reaching out with an opportunity to join a cutting-edge AI project with a global leader in AI hardware and software solutions.
Project scope
The goal is to collect real-world telephone conversations to help improve automatic speech recognition systems. We are focusing on food service and customer service interactions like phone orders, drive-through conversations, and contact center dialogues across various topics.
Your role
You’ll be asked to record 2–5 minute realistic conversations (in pairs) that include several short utterances (3 to 20 seconds each).
You will be paired with another speaker, as both male and female voices are needed. Recordings will follow specific guidelines
Requirements
Fluency in General American or/and one of the following dialect variants (Northern American, Southern American, New England, Metropolitan New York, Western, Upper, Midwest, Appalachian)
Ability to record realistic, domain-specific conversations with a partner provided by us
Timeline
The project kick-off is expected in the coming weeks, and you will be asked to work full-time for about 1 week from the project kick-off.
Compensation
Paid on an hourly basis. This is a freelance job based on this specific project. Other similar opportunities may be available in the future.
