Description:
I seek an audio engineer to expertly mix a multitrack recording of my performance of the song "Sunrise Sunset" from the musical Fiddler on the Roof. As the lead singer, I was accompanied by a pianist and string quintet comprising of flute, two violins, viola and cello during a recent Jewish wedding. Clocking in at approximately two minutes, the recording features separate tracks for each instrument and voice that will require masterful mixing and post-production work. Skilled use of audio editing tools such as Melodyne is necessary to craft a sublime final mix where all elements gel seamlessly together in superb harmony. The engineer should have extensive experience mixing complex multitrack classical and musical theatre recordings. Applicants are requested to demonstrate a deft grasp of audio engineering techniques needed to bring out the full emotional range and nuanced musicality of this classic ballad. Only bids from engineers possessing exemplary skill in multitrack editing, mixing and post production for published recordings will be considered.
