This project involves transferring an existing HTML website to WordPress and implementing an aesthetically similar yet fully functional theme. The current site was created with basic HTML/CSS and needs to be rebuilt as a customized WordPress theme to leverage WordPress capabilities. Main tasks include analyzing the existing site design and content structure, creating custom post types and taxonomies as needed, developing template files, coding the front-end using proper WordPress template tags and functions, designing custom layouts and pages replication thelook-and-feel of the original site, integrating necessary JavaScript and CSS files, testing thoroughly across browsers and devices. Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, CSS/HTML, and WordPress theme development best practices is essential. Proposals should include details on creative and technical approach, estimated timeline and communication process. |
