I need an accountant with knowledge of UK VAT to answer this question:
I sell on Amazon UK and Amazon EU. For sales on Amazon UK they are shown as 20% UK VAT on my UK VAT return but I need to know what VAT code to use for EU sales. Amazon EU sales use IOSS where the relevant EU country VAT is taken by Amazon from the sale and paid to the relevant EU tax authorities.
Which VAT code should my EU sales on the UK VAT return use? Should it be No VAT, Exempt VAT or Zero Rated VAT?
Stock for EU sales are already in the EU and send to EU B2C customers with no VAT number. The stock does not come from the UK for these sales.
