Our accounting software (freeagent) has not been handling our payroll for some time (since it was outsourced) and our book keeper has just been coding the case transactions. The amounts are then adjusted by our accountant on their systems before filing.
However it us more than I can bare and I have got one of our devs to write an integration into the Freeagent to upload a csv with the journal entries.
I have a record of all the transactions with the Employer NI, Employee NI, PAYE, Employer Pension and Employee Pension on spreadsheets, but I need to go back and create journal entries for all of these for the last 2 years, and I don't have time.
We have the added complication of having departments, which I need reports on (which there is limited support for in Freeagent, so we manage through nominal codes.
I can provide the last 2 years of payroll data on a spreadsheets and the nominal codes these need to go to. What I want is a csv I can upload into our system.
