Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer (expert level) with proven experience in healthcare websites to help us re-platform one of our existing websites from Craft CMS to WordPress.
This is the first of 3 websites we plan to move, so we are looking to build a longer-term relationship with the right freelancer/agency.
Scope of Work: Re-platform 1 healthcare website (currently on Craft CMS) to WordPress. Website size: approx. 180 pages. Like-for-like migration — no design, layout, or content changes required. Content, images, and creative assets are all available and must be migrated as-is. Ensure all forms (currently using JotForm) are integrated and working correctly post-migration. Implement redirects/migration plan (to be provided by our SEO team) for any URL structure changes. The website must be fully functional, mobile responsive, secure, and fast. Maintain all key features and functionality, including user journey flows. Provide basic documentation/guidance for our team on managing the site in WordPress.
Requirements: Proven experience migrating sites from Craft to WordPress. Strong knowledge of WordPress (ideally page builders like Elementor, unless advised otherwise). Previous experience working with healthcare or clinical websites is highly preferred. Strong understanding of website performance, accessibility, and SEO-friendly builds. Ability to deliver within an agreed timeframe and budget.
Deliverables: Fully migrated WordPress website, identical in design, layout, and content. Working and tested forms (JotForm integrations). SEO migration implemented (redirects as per SEO team’s plan). Final review, testing, and sign-off before launch.
Future Work: If this first migration is successful, we plan to migrate two additional websites (450 pages and 220 pages, respectively) with the same requirements.
