I’m looking for a qualified solicitor or lawyer with experience in UK contract law to review a non-interest bearing loan agreement between a private lender and borrower.
The purpose of the review is to:
- Ensure the agreement is legally binding and enforceable. - Confirm that the loan obligation will remain valid if the borrower passes away, and does not revert as a burden to the lender. - Check that the agreement appropriately references supporting documents (e.g. repayment schedule, bank statements, and ledger). - Flag any risks, weaknesses, or recommended amendments to strengthen the document.
Requirements: - Qualified solicitor/lawyer with relevant UK experience. - Strong background in contract and/or financial law. - Ability to provide a quick turnaround.
Deliverables: - Reviewed loan agreement with comments or mark-up. - Short summary or recommendations to ensure legal robustness.
