Expected duration: less than 1 week Looking for an experienced IT technician based in or near Wilmslow, Cheshire (SK9) to assist one of our clients on behalf of a small IT consultancy.
The work involves:
Reviewing and tidying up Microsoft 365 / Outlook setup across laptop, iPhone, and iPad
Checking and resolving calendar sync issues (duplicate or uneditable recurring meetings)
Verifying DNS and mail flow from 123 Reg to Microsoft 365
Migrating older Exchange mailbox data into Microsoft 365 (if accessible)
General on-site IT review and minor fixes (“gremlins”) while there
This is a one-off on-site visit — ideally completed within the next week. Future collaboration may be available for reliable freelancers who deliver well.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and 123 Reg mail/DNS setup
Own transport to Wilmslow (SK9)
Good communication and professionalism when representing a company
Budget: £90-120 (potential for ongoing work if successful).
