I’m looking for an affordable UK-based mobile app developer or team to build a basic MVP (prototype) version of my idea — “UniMatch Europe” — an app that helps international students find UK and European universities for undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
The goal is to create a simple working version that I can demo to users and potential investors — not a full production app.
App Concept:
The app helps students: - Create a short personal profile (nationality, grades, field of study, budget). - Get a list of recommended universities in the UK (from a small preloaded dataset). - View basic details for each university (name, location, tuition fees, deadline). - Save favourites or shortlist universities. - View contact info or external “Apply” link. - Core Features (MVP Scope):
Please note: I want to start small — just a prototype with 3–5 screens. - Login / Onboarding screen (email or guest login). - Profile form (collect a few fields). - Recommendations list (static or from a simple JSON file). - University detail page (basic text and link). - Saved favourites (local storage only).
Technical Preferences: - Open to React Native, Flutter, or no-code (Adalo / Glide / Bubble) solutions. - Must run on Android (iOS optional for now). - Use dummy/sample data — no backend required initially. - Clean, modern UI — I can provide a reference design or sample screens.
What I’ll Provide: - App name and logo (UniMatch Europe). - List of 10–20 universities with sample data. - Colour scheme and brand guidelines (simple). - Example layout references (Figma or screenshots).
Deliverables: - Working mobile app (Android APK or test build). - Source code or project file (so I can edit/extend later). - Basic documentation / how to update the university list.
Goal: -This project is about building a proof of concept that demonstrates the user flow — not a full back-end product. If the MVP goes well, I’ll expand the budget later for version 2.0.
