We’re a well-established technology company with a friendly, family-oriented culture, looking for a skilled and dependable WordPress Developer to join us immediately for an important upgrade project. We’ve previously lost valuable time with developers who couldn’t start right away or lacked the technical capabilities to deliver, so we want to be clear from the outset that this role requires someone available to begin work immediately and confident in their expertise.
The Role You’ll take the lead on implementing several key enhancements to our WordPress platform. This project calls for someone who can step in right away, work efficiently, and communicate clearly and professionally throughout.
Core Responsibilities:
- API Integration: Connect our WordPress site with a government database API to automatically populate client registration details, reducing manual data entry.
- Ad Placement: Integrate ad placements within our search results, designed to appear similarly to Google Ads listings.
- Listing Feature Enhancement: Build a “Bump Listing” feature that allows users to move their posts to the top of search results.
What We’re Looking For # In-depth, proven experience with WordPress, PHP, and MySQL. # Strong background in API integrations and custom plugin/theme development. # Excellent understanding of performance optimisation and secure coding practices. # A proactive communicator with strong attention to detail and accountability.
