At the moment, job maps and location search are not working correctly on the front end for users. Maps show Google Maps errors and location searches fail, although geolocation works in the WordPress admin.
I need an experienced developer to: -> Identify the root cause of the frontend Google Maps errors -> Fix the Google Maps setup so job maps load correctly on the front end -> Ensure location search / autocomplete works for users -> Confirm everything works consistently across all three sites
I believe this is primarily a Google Maps API / Google Cloud Console configuration and troubleshooting task, with WordPress integration via WP Job Manager Geolocation.
All work must be done inside my existing Google Cloud Console project and billing account. I will add you as a user to my Google Cloud account if needed
Scope of work (high level) -> Audit Google Maps API setup in Google Cloud Console -> Check billing, enabled APIs, quotas and API key configuration -> Review and fix API key restrictions (eg HTTP referrers) -> Troubleshoot frontend Google Maps errors in WP Job Manager Geolocation -> Ensure job maps and location searches work correctly on all three sites
Skills required -> Google Maps API (Maps JavaScript API, Places API, Geocoding API) -> Google Cloud Console and billing configuration -> WP Job Manager and WP Job Manager Geolocation -> Debugging frontend Google Maps and JavaScript errors
Success criteria -> Job maps load correctly on the front end -> Location search and autocomplete work for users -> No Google Maps error messages -> Works reliably across all three websites
