I am seeking an experienced book cover production designer to resize and prepare four existing full cover designs for print distribution via Amazon KDP & IngramSpark
Each title requires: 1 x Paperback full wrap cover 1 x Hardback full wrap cover
Total output: 16 print-ready PDFs - this is a technical production task, not a redesign.
What I Will Provide: High-resolution source PDFs (front, spine, back already designed) Example layout templates Final trim size Page count and paper type for spine calculation
What You Must Deliver
For EACH book: Amazon Paperback (print-ready PDF) Amazon Hardback (print-ready PDF) Ingram Paperback (print-ready PDF) Ingram Hardback (print-ready PDF)
All files must: Be CMYK (no RGB) 300 DPI minimum Include 0.125" bleed Have correctly calculated spine width Have embedded fonts Be flattened Meet Amazon and IngramSpark upload standards Use the correct barcodes per book label (will be provided) Be correctly aligned for trim tolerance
Important Notes Spine width differs between paperback and hardback. Spine width may differ between Amazon and Ingram. Typography and layout must remain unchanged. This is a resizing and compliance adjustment only.
Required Experience
Please only apply if you: Have previously prepared covers for both Amazon KDP and IngramSpark Understand spine width calculation Understand bleed and trim safety Have print production experience (not just digital design)
