I’m looking for a talented designer to create a logo for my new brand, The Connected Child.
This brand supports parents and young children (ages 3–10) with emotional regulation, connection, and social-emotional development. I am a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) teacher, and the brand will include educational content, workshops, and children’s books in the future.
The logo needs to feel:
• Calm • Nurturing • Safe • Trustworthy • Emotionally intelligent • Modern and clean
Target audience: Parents (primarily mums) who want to build stronger emotional connections with their children.
Colour direction: I am leaning towards soft baby blue and white, but I am open to incorporating warm neutrals or sage tones to add warmth.
Style preferences: • Minimal and clean • Soft, rounded typography (nothing harsh or corporate) • Possibly subtle symbolism (e.g., connection, holding hands, heart integration, subtle line art of parent and child, or abstract circular connection shapes) • Scalable for social media, website, book covers, and print
Potential Deliverables: • Submark/icon version • Colour palette guidance • Files in vector format (AI, SVG, PNG, JPEG) • Font recommendations (if custom fonts used)
