Initial suppliers include: Persis Collection (2000+ SKUs) Persis Kitchen (200+ SKUs) Persis Kado (200+ SKUs) The platform should follow a professional B2B marketplace workflow similar to Alibaba (structure and logic, not design copy). Built on: WordPress WooCommerce Scalable architecture supporting future multi-vendor marketplace This is NOT a retail website. Core Business Model EXW Middle East base product pricing MOQ required per product Login-only pricing Admin approval required for wholesale buyers Shipping calculated manually after quote request Multiple export models selectable by buyer This is a structured sourcing platform, not a consumer shop. Phase 1 – Core Requirements 1) Trade Account Registration & Approval Create a wholesale registration form with: Company name Website Country WhatsApp Business type Estimated monthly purchase volume Workflow: User registers → Admin notified → Manual approval → Only approved users can view pricing. Prices must remain hidden from non-approved users. 2) Login-Only Pricing Non-logged users: No price display Message: “Create a trade account to view wholesale pricing” Approved users: Display EXW base price Display MOQ clearly Optional tier pricing Pricing must be protected. 3) Product Structure Initial launch: up to 2000 curated SKUs. Each product must include: MOQ Production lead time EXW base price HS Code Estimated carton weight Export options Structured specifications Products must be trade-focused, not retail-style. 4) Shipping Model (Manual Quote) No automatic shipping calculation. Buyer selects export method: EXW Middle East warehouse pickup Air freight (airport delivery) Direct courier (door-to-door) After submission: Admin receives request → Calculates freight manually → Sends final invoice. 5) RFQ System Replace standard checkout with: “Add to Quote” Quote cart Structured RFQ submission Admin converts quote to invoice manually 6) Marketplace-Ready Structure (Future Phase) Platform must support future: Multi-vendor integration Vendor dashboard Vendor product upload (admin approval) Commission model Vendor feature not active at launch but architecture must support it. Design & UX Direction Professional B2B structure similar to Alibaba workflow.
