Social Media Designer Needed – Instagram Templates & First Posts (Canva)
Job Description
I am looking for a designer to create three professional social media templates for a new business.
The branding is already complete. I have logos, colours, and content ready, so the focus is on producing clean, professional templates that can be reused for ongoing social media posts.
Scope of Work
Create 3 reusable social media templates, for example:
Promotional / Offer Post
Informational / Educational Post
Quote / Announcement Post
The templates should be designed so they can be easily edited and reused by changing text and images.
Platform
The initial templates will be created for Instagram (including Reels).
Additional Requirement
Once the templates are designed, I would also like the first three posts created using content that I will supply, so they are ready to publish.
All work should be delivered within Canva, so the templates remain fully editable.
Ongoing Work Opportunity
This project forms part of an initial client setup for a marketing agency.
If the work is high quality and the collaboration works well, there may be ongoing work creating social media templates and post setups for future clients and additional platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
For future projects we would aim to agree a simple fixed rate for setting up templates, creating posts, and assisting with other tasks related to managing social media platforms.
Requirements
Experience designing social media templates
Templates designed for Instagram posts and Reels
Delivered in Canva (fully editable)
Clean, modern, professional design
Ability to follow existing brand guidelines

Deliverables
3 editable Canva templates
3 completed posts ready for Instagram
Correct sizes for posts and Reels
Timeline
Ideally completed within 3–5 days.
Budget
£50–£80 depending on experience.
Proposal Instructions
Please include the word “Template” at the beginning of your proposal so I know you have read the full brief.
Please also include 2–3 examples of similar social media template work.
Additionally, if these templates already existed in the future, please indicate what your approximate fixed price would be for setting up posts for a new client using those existing templates.
