Expected duration: 1 - 6 months About the Project I am seeking an experienced editor and co-writer for a scientific book to be submitted to MIT Press on the safe implementation of AI in healthcare. The book is grounded in original primary research — 59 in-depth interviews — and is expected to reach approximately 80,000 words. I am currently in the drafting phase and anticipate completing the draft within 4 months. This is a serious academic publishing project. I am not looking for blog writers, content marketers, or fiction editors. Your Role The editor/co-writer will be responsible for three core tasks: 1. Interview-to-prose conversion – Transform structured interview content into coherent, academically rigorous narrative prose 2. Literature integration – Incorporate key findings from relevant scientific studies (provided by the author) into the manuscript in a manner consistent with academic publishing standards 3. Editorial review – Review and strengthen grammar, clarity, and the integrity of the core argument throughout
