Expected duration: less than 1 week Project Description: I am seeking an experienced CAD Technician or Architectural Technologist to finalize a drawing pack for a low-impact campsite and agricultural smallholding planning submission in Medstead (Hampshire).
The Assets Provided: Topographical Base: Legally licensed OS MasterMap .DXF including 1m LiDAR contours and OS Crown Copyright License number.
Technical Brief: A finalized document specifying all internal dimensions, required layouts, and strict site constraints.
Design State: The design is 100% finalized. This is a drafting-only role to formalize my exact requirements into a professional submission pack. (Note: Complex foul water drainage design is already being handled by a separate civil engineer and is not part of this scope).
Scope of Work & Required Drawings: 1. Site Location Plan (1:1250 or 1:2500)Must show the mandatory Red Line encompassing the developed footprint and the Blue Line for the remainder of the 16ha landholding.
2. Proposed Site Layout Plan (1:500)Overlay 12 generic pitches (5 electric, 7 non-electric) onto the provided DXF. Map the 3.7m unbound aggregate perimeter track and 3 designated parking bays (2 guest, 1 manager). Detail the smallholding sequence along the western boundary (pig/goat enclosures, compost, veg plot). Map the northern heritage orchard and strictly label soft landscaping as "Indicative". Clearly label 6-metre fire gaps between all units and detail the designated fire suppression points.
3. Swept Path Analysis (SPA)The layout must demonstrate access, an internal turning head, and egress in a forward gear for an 11.2m (26-tonne) refuse vehicle. No reversing onto the adjacent bridleway is permitted.
4. Stable Conversion (Washrooms) - Plans & Elevations (1:50 & 1:100)Existing & Proposed floor plans for a 6.0m x 3.6m internal conversion featuring 3 washroom pods and a plumbing void. Constraint: Zero structural exterior modifications. No new external windows, doors, or vents on the main envelope. Internal stud-work and MEP only.
5. Manager’s Lodge - Plans & Elevations (1:100)Draft indicative elevations and a typical floor plan for a 12m x 6m timber-clad mobile unit. Must be explicitly labeled as a "Mobile Manager's Lodge" sited on temporary jack-pads. Omit any verandahs, decking, or permanent additions.
Requirements:
Must be highly familiar with UK Planning Portal standards. Ability to deliver clean, professional PDFs and the final source .DWG/.DXF files.
contractor must include one round of minor revisions to ensure exact adherence to the brief and to address any standard Local Authority validation feedback.
